ESTUDIO REALIZADO EN 2007 EN EL HOSPITAL UNIVERSITARIO DE ÖREBRO EN ÖREBRO EN SUECIA Y LOS EFECTOS BIOLÓGICO NO TÉRMICOS

EFECTOS BIOLÓGICOS DE LA EXPOSICIÓN A CAMPOS ELECTROMAGNÉTICOS Y ESTÁNDARES DE EXPOSICIÓN PÚBLICA

En 2007 Lennart Hardell oncólogo y profesor sueco en el Hospital Universitario de Örebro en Örebro (Suecia), en una creciente preocupación pública sobre los riesgos potenciales para la salud de los campos electromagnéticos de frecuencia extremadamente baja (ELF), los efectos biológicos no térmicos no son considerados. Existiendo varios informes científicos, tenemos el informe BioInitiative se basa en una investigación internacional y una iniciativa de políticas de seguridad públicas para dar a conocer los efectos biológicos que ocurren en la exposición a campos electromagnéticos de baja intensidad (EMF).

Los puntos finales de salud que se asocian con los campos electromagnéticos de frecuencia extremadamente baja (ELF) incluyen leucemia infantil, tumores cerebrales, efectos genotóxicos, efectos neurológicos y enfermedades neurodegenerativas, desregulación del sistema inmunitario, respuestas alérgicas e inflamatorias, cáncer de mama, aborto espontáneo y algunos efectos cardiovasculares.

El Informe BioInitiative concluyó que existe evidencia razonable sobre los riesgos a la exposición en el corto, mediano y largo plazo pueden ocasionar efectos sobre la salud. Como también políticas de protección a las mujeres embarazadas y a los niños que son nuestra población vulnerable.
